Cat 7 -> new Cat 8 cost
Had a points advance booking for a then Cat 7 property, not Cat 8 as of March 5th. Bonvoy SOP according to KM 6115 is to credit a member 25,000 points each night and add the certificate so the cost is the same as when they originally booked. Very frustrated with the "Titanium Elite Service" provided. Asked the agent several times to re-read the policy to me hoping she would realize how dumb her argument sounds, but no luck. I called several times times and finally ended up with this lady. Hoping to call back again on Monday and get someone a little smarter and willing to help.
