Have you been Bonvoyed?

I stayed in this hotel and for the 4th straight time I was not given any kind of upgrade. Further, I had arrived to the hotel at about midnight that night and when I inquired about an upgrade the person working the front desk told me that I was checking in late and should have checked in earlier. I could not believe this person was trying to tell me that I had a curfew if I expected an upgrade. I incorrectly figured that my 1,000 nights and lifetime titanium elite status would be enough. Anyway, Clearly this hotel has a policy of not handing out upgrades for some reason.
